Reese Witherspoon ha raccontato come ai suoi figli non piace guardare i suoi film.
L’attrice ha tre figli, Ava, 25 anni e Deacon, 21 anni, che condivide con il primo marito Ryan Philippe e il figlio Tennessee, 12 anni, che condivide con l’ex Jim Toth.
Ora ha rivelato che a nessuno di loro piace guardarla sullo schermo.
“My children actively avoid my work,” Il 48enne ha detto a E! Notizia.
“I literally had my son tell me last night that he did not know I made a living being funny. He was like, ‘I just didn’t realise. You’re funny at home – sort of.'”
Il vincitore dell’Oscar ha condiviso il modo in cui il Tennessee è andato con lei a guardare una proiezione anticipata del suo nuovo film con Will Ferrell, sei cordialmente invitato ed è stato sorpreso dalla reazione del pubblico.
“When he sat through the movie, he was like, ‘People were laughing at your stuff.’ I was like, ‘Yeah.'”
Il complimento non è durato a lungo però.
“He told me kids his age won’t want to go see it because we’re old,” Ha ricordato. “That’s what he said to me: ‘You’re old. But they’ll love it when they when they do watch it with their parents.'”
Will Ferrell ha detto come uno dei suoi figli ha avuto una reazione simile. È papà ai figli Magnus, 20 anni, Mattias, 18 anni e Axel, 15 anni, che condivide con la moglie di 25 anni Viveca Paulin.
“One of my boys said, ‘Dad, You’re like a player in the NBA who’s had, like, a really nice career, and it’s kind of levelled out a little bit, but now you’re having, like, a second rise to your career.'”
Ha scherzato, “So, I guess I was out of the game for a long time. Now I’m back.”
