Jay Leno ha spiegato come cerca di trovare rari momenti in cui può ridere mentre si prende cura di sua moglie.
L’icona del talk show di 74 anni è stata concessa la conservazione sul coniuge, Mavis Leno, l’anno scorso a seguito della sua diagnosi avanzata della demenza.
Aprendo alle persone, Jay ha spiegato che è straziante quando sua moglie non lo riconosce, ma ha aggiunto, “You try to find the humour in this situation.”
Dare un esempio, ha detto, “I took my wife shopping, I can see she’s a little down, (so I said), ‘Come on, we’ll go to the mall.’

Jay revealed he was left gobsmacked when he reached the till with two pairs that he thought were similar, recalling, “Ho preso due paia di sneaker e (il cassiere dice) ‘Questo è $ 24 (£ 19). La star del talk show ha continuato, “I’m glad I can afford this and it made my wife happy. It just made me laugh. Just typical. I thought the $24 pair looked better than those, but that’s okay.”
Ha aggiunto, “I think when you’re dealing with this kind of thing, you find your moments where you can have a laugh and have fun, and my wife really likes them and felt good about it.”
