Anjelica Huston ha rivelato di aver combattuto segretamente il cancro.
Alla leggendaria attrice di 73 anni è stata diagnosticata la malattia subito dopo l’uscita del suo film del 2019 John Wick: Capitolo 3-Parabellum.
Giovedì, la stella si è aperta sulla sua salute per rivelare che aveva combattuto segretamente la malattia mentre aggiungeva che voleva mantenere il tipo specifico di cancro che ha combattuto privato.
Ha detto alla gente, “That was a very serious moment for me. I managed to survive it, and I’m proud of myself.”
Ha continuato, “It’s not something that came lightly. It came as a big shock, but it made me conscious of what I shouldn’t do, of places I shouldn’t go.
“Uno di quei posti era prendere la vita troppo sul serio. Quindi ora quando si presenta l’opportunità, rido e cerco di non fare molto per le cose.”
The Addams Family icon disclosed that she was “Nel chiaro”, saying, “Sono al segno di quattro anni, e questo significa così tanto per me.
“It’s a fantastic thing. I’m very proud of myself, and I’ve been very lucky. My doctors have been wonderful.”
E spiegando perché aveva deciso di essere aperta sulla sua battaglia per la salute, ha rivelato, “Sometimes you feel like you don’t want to talk about it for the obvious reasons, but there’s a lot to be said for talking about it and getting it out there and celebrating the fact that one’s come through.
